I'm a journalist, avid writer, humorist, champion of underdogs, pitbull advocate, lover of dogs, food, caffeine, handbags, midcentury modern & everything Buffalo!
While I've been a journalist for ABC News and CNN for the past 28 years, I've been a writer my entire life. It all began in elementary school where I wrote two bound books (they are a hoot). Then my writing stepped-up in middle school when passing notes to friends in class and my need to write hasn’t stopped yet. Simultaneously while writing notes in class (not taking class notes), I also exchanged weekly letters with my bestie who lived 13 miles away. We’ve been friends since the age of five and way before email. We had to rely on snail mail and a rotary phone.
As for me, I'm Buffalo born and raised and couldn't be prouder to hail from Western New York. I spent the last 25+ years in Atlanta, GA and I am thrilled to be back in my city. There really is no place like home. I returned to help my elderly mother with daily life and do not regret my decision.
